How do you implement a click tag for a flash ad for philly.com?
Here is the recommended method to include ClickTags. Follow instructions carefully.
In Flash, the steps would be:
1) Create a new layer ontop of all others, call this layer "clickthru"
2) In this new layer, create a rectangle that covers the entire ad
3) Convert the rectangle to a BUTTON symbol, call it "clickthru"
4) Change it's Alpha opacity to 0% (so it is transparent)
5) With the button symbol selected, open the Actions panel and paste the following script:

6) Export the swf

It will vary on the type that you are looking for. In most cases you can go to the search box, make sure classifieds is not selected and type in the zip code. You may have to go through some pages to find your listings.

When you buy ROS your ads are mixed in with all others because it is covering all channels. You are buying how many times it will be seen, not where and when. For example, if there were 5.8 million impressions projected to serve for 30 days in NJ for a 300x250 and of that 5.8 million, an advertiser bought 100,000 then of the 193,383 300x250 impressions that serve daily, 3,333 will be served for this specific advertiser daily.
Can we Geo-targeting my exclusive ads?
No. Ads can only be targeted as exclusive by site, day of week, or hour of day.
What’s the difference between a unique visitor and a page view?
A unique visitor is a single person; counting per month. A page view is every time a person saw the page in the month. For example, Abby counts as 1 unique visitor for the month of May, but Abby counts as 55 page views for the month of May.
How can I be sure that you showed my ad the number of times that you promised?
Automatic reporting can be set up for every advertiser’s campaign that is pulled directly from our ad server showing the amount of impressions that were served and clicks received. Advertisers are also welcome to track the progress of their ad with third party tracking.
Why don’t I see my SEM campaign when I search for it?
Advertisers won’t always find their campaign every time they search. The program is not designed to always be “on”. The program is designed to deliver the number of clicks the advertiser contracted through Philly.com.
Do we cover expandable ad serving costs?
Yes, with an additional percentage added to the CPM.
Do we sell remnant?
Yes, but it is served at the lowest priority.
What are the creative deadlines for banners created in-house?
Standard banners - up to 3 days
Rich Media and Video - 5-7 days
Customized or new units - add an additional 2 days
